Jon is a construction project manager and urban planner who is passionate about strengthening and revitalizing communities. He has previously led construction and planning work with Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia in 5 different Philadelphia neighborhoods. Jon grew up in a rural area in Montgomery County Pa, and has had a lifelong interest in the natural environment. This has led to being invested in park restoration work with Fisher Park in the Olney community and working in environmental restoration work with TTF Watershed Partnership. He also spent two summers working on a dairy farm! He learned carpentry and building construction from the ground up, but has also earned a Masters in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University. Jon is married and has three children who have grown up in Philadelphia and are moving into the Arts, Science Journalism and Engineering. He enjoys kayaking, hiking, and organic gardening in his spare time.
